My Story

Ever since I could remember helping others was my passion. As a daughter of immigrants, I witnessed my parents help others with compassion and understanding. I carry those examples with me everyday and mindfully practice them to better serve others.

As a first generation Latina woman I experiencing many of the same experiences other first generation Latinx and professionals of color experience. I have been on the other side of the chair and understand how difficult it can be to ask for help. I understand the stigma related to receiving mental health services and I am proud of you for taking the first steps! I believe that having a shared experience with those I work with will strength the therapeutic relationship and our work together.

I have over 10 years of mental health experiencing working in various setting including nonprofits organizations, domestic violence shelters, government, and hospital settings. My extensive experiencing has allowed me the opportunity to work with children, adults, and older adults from different cultures, ethnicities, backgrounds, social economic status, gender identity, and sexual preference. I believe that I have the experience to help you through your journey of healing.
